He is a governor of all the people and not of any p articular minority group, who for instance tak e exception to his strong stand in the recent labor troubles th a t if handled w eakly m ight have throw n us into worse turm oil than was faced a year ago this summer. M artin was fairh and squarely elected governor in spite of a lot of mud throw ing and political backbiting less th an a y ear ago. All the facts about his being a retired m ajor-general and other questions th a t his enemies are continually harping about were brought out into the open and thoroughly discussed at election time. The vote was decisive. It is time his political enemies and political opportunists realize th a t constitutional governm ent in A m er ica provides for m ajority rule. The state has been m ighty fortunate in having a strong and decisive governor in these trying times, and from comment heard many thousands feel th a t wav about it. people in the country that feel the same way and who are working hard nearly every day in the year.
